As the new dance season kicks in, it’s time to repack that dance bag! In addition to the staples of shoes, makeup, snacks and hairpins, here are a few other helpful items to consider:
-
Fabric Softener Sheet
With all the sweaty shoes and dance wear, your bag might need a little freshening. A dryer sheet does wonders to keep those stinky odors at bay…without adding any bulk or weight to your already bulging bag. They also work great at reducing static on your costumes!
- Plastic Zip-top Baggies
I don’t go anywhere without them. Aside from their regular uses, in a pinch these bags can be used as an ice pack, a water bottle, storage for small rhinestones or buttons that fall off, or as a garbage bag to hold trash like dirty makeup wipes so they don’t get everything else dirty. The uses are endless!
-
Hot Glue Gun
Seriously, the most useful multi-function tool ever! Hot glue guns are perfect for quick costume fixes if a rhinestone falls off or appliqué peels. You can also apply the hot glue in dots or rows to provide a non-slip grip if your costume is not staying put, or if your socks are too slippery! You won’t regret having it with you!
Hopefully you find these unusual very helpful as the season continues for all of us dancers! Have fun and stay safe!
XOXO,
Hailey
