My favorite pre dance snack is called a protein bite. It’s packed full of protein and gives me energy to make it through multiple classes. It’s also a great snack for in between classes because you can just pop one in your mouth and go. You can change the recipe a few different ways to make it best for you, but the recipe I shared below is my favorite one.
First, you will need the following ingredients:
Oats, Peanut Butter, Honey, Flax Seeds or Chia Seeds, Chocolate Chips ( I like the mini choc chips best), Vanilla Protein Powder, Cinnamon
Optional ingredients: Raisins, Craisins, Unsweetened Coconut
How to put it all together:
1 Cup oats
½ Cup Peanut Butter
½ Cup Mini Choc Chips
1/3 Cup Honey
¼ Chia or Flax Seeds
2 TBSP Vanilla Protein Powder
¼ teaspoon Cinnamon
Mix all ingredients in large bowl until it looks evenly distributed and becomes uniformed dough
Roll the dough into twenty-four 1-1/2 inch balls
Refrigerate for 30 minutes
Eat…yum!
