If you have an upcoming photoshoot, here are some tips on how to have a great session and how to create that perfect shot!
First, go with a plan.  Gather the styles and dance wear that you want in your photo.  Research different poses and how you will look in each piece that you wear.  Will you be serious and fierce or fun or beautiful? Don't be afraid to be creative or different! Make the most out of your time with the photographer.
Second, look for levels around you during the shoot that can make a photo interesting or even unique.  Stairs, something to sit on, or something you can safely stand on with the help of your photographer.  Look for abstract objects or something that will go well with what your wearing.  Colors are everything in a photo.
Third, don't let the weather distract you.  If its cold or hot or even raining, come prepared and don't let it distract you! Some of the best photos are taken when the weather doesn't work in your favor and they can be some amazing shots!
Fourth, bring your confidence!  Don't be afraid to just go for it and look right into the camera! Every dancer is beautiful in their own way.  Be proud of who you are!
Fifth, make sure you say thank you to the photographer and support them by tagging and commenting who took the photograph.  They are proud of their work just as much as you are.  Photographer appreciate the shout outs and it helps them grow their business.
And last but not least, have FUN!  Photo shoots can be very memorable!  Can't wait to see your photos #sugarsisters!
Love,
Sydney
